I honestly forget I have a Switch sometimes hah I wish it could be more of an active priority in my life, but most of the new indie games I’m curious about aren’t on switch, so I just want a playthrough of it online.
I do like the portability aspect of the Switch in theory, but I rarely take it outside my apartment. I took it on the bus once and nearly missed my stop while playing so I do t do that anymore. The steam deck does seem like a cool investment though
Oh no, glad you saw your stop before it was too late! I think I've gone to a coffee shop a handful of times to play Breath of the Wild, but otherwise I haven't taken advantage of the portability aspect of it much while commuting. It's super nice to just be able to play a game from the comfort of bed though.
The Steam Deck is definitely cool too! Had mine for a couple years at this point and had no issues so far. I feel so spoiled when I go on vacation and can bring a little gaming computer with me. I don't usually use it in desktop mode, but it seems nice for those that are really into that stuff, especially since it runs on Linux so you can tinker with it a bit
