I listened to the audiobook for Tomb Sweeping a few months ago. I think I liked the first two short stories the best. I placed a hold for Minority Report and Foreverland based on this post, so thank you! I’ve read a bit of Philip K. Dick’s book “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?” (Which was turned into the movie Blade Runner). I liked some chapters and other chapters bored me, but definitely willing to give him a second chance, especially since I really enjoyed the movie Minority Report.

I just finished the first two stories this morning and really liked them! I wasn't sure how the first one was going to go (the one where she's house sitting) but it was really suspenseful — I really liked how the author slowly built that one up!

Jenn started reading Foreverland and isn't sure if she's going to love it, but it might be worth a read!

I'll also admit that Philip K. Dick can get a bit wordy. He's overall got some very interesting ideas that feel very ahead of their time, but sometimes he does get lost in his head and rambles a bit. It works very well for certain books like "A Scanner Darkly" but otherwise can be a little distracting for others. I think the thing I love about him most is that it's usually easy to quickly jump into the worlds he creates. Sometimes sci-fi takes dozens and dozens of pages to set a scene and setting and by the time I'm there I'm already over it 😆

"The Minority Report" is a fairly quick read though and I think you'll enjoy it!
